Growing up on a farm, I started shooting at a very young age. My father was heavily involved in shooting and helped run a local shoot and I developed my love for shooting as a result of it being a major part of my upbringing. My background is in game shooting and I got into clay shooting later on. I am passionate about shotgun shooting and enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with others. With my instruction, you’ll develop confidence and improve your shooting skills, no matter your level of experience. Whether you’re interested in learning the basics of shooting or want to improve your skills and scores, I’m here to help. As an experienced shotgun shooter, and APSI (Association of Professional Shooting Instructors) qualified shooting instructor, my goal is to teach you the proper technique and safety measures required to succeed in the sport. I offer personalised tuition based on your individual needs and goals, whether you’re learning for fun or competition. Lessons cover a range of topics including gun handling, eye dominance, stance and shooting technique. I believe that mastering the fundamentals is the key to success in shotgun shooting, and I will work with you to perfect your technique and help you achieve your goals.
Safety is a top priority for me, and I take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for you. Whether you’re new to shooting or an experienced shot, I will provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to stay safe on and off the shooting ground. If you’re interested in learning more about my shotgun shooting instruction or would like to schedule a lesson, please contact me today. I am privileged to be involved in coaching the Young Shots. This is a group of youngsters of various ages between 8 and 17 who are starting their shooting journey to become the next generation of shooters. It is my responsibility as a shooting instructor to recognise ability and support and encourage these young people to learn to shoot safely and to the best of their ability; instilling in them a love and respect of the sport, as well as encouraging safe practice and competitive spirit to ensure they have the grounding and skills that will last a lifetime. I am proud to be associated with this initiative, and it is both a pleasure and a privilege to observe the youngsters’ progression and development within the sport.
